Bio

Carlo A. R. Perini is a Research Scientist in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the development of optoelectronic devices, including photodetectors and solar cells, with the goal of improving their efficiency and functionality for next-generation applications.

A significant portion of Dr. Perini’s work investigates how surfaces and interfaces within multilayer device architectures can be modified to control charge-carrier dynamics and reduce the degradation of device performance.
