Bio

John R. Reynolds is Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech. He is a member of the Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics (COPE) and the founding Director of the Georgia Tech Polymer Network. His research has focused on electrically conducting and electroactive conjugated polymers for over four decades, developing new polymer materials for electrochromics, LEDs, light-emitting electrochemical cells, photovoltaics, supercapacitors, and bioelectronic devices. He has authored more than 500 scientific publications, holds numerous patents, and serves as co-editor of the Handbook of Conducting Polymers.
